Each month at deadline time, I sit wondering what to write about, but this month it is vastly different. So many things swirl through my head. As I think about the September meeting, all I can say is WOW! As we went around and talked about all the different facets of what makes us the "Newcomers Club" I was reminded that we are truly a wonderful organization full of equally wonderful individuals. I am so very pleased and lucky to be part of it. Thank you to everyone who keep all our different facets going.
I extend a great big welcome to the six members who joined since that meeting: Beth, Laura, Jeanenne, Carrie, Lisa and Julie. We hope you enjoy your experiences within the club.
New and longtime members alike should mark their calendars now for the first ever evening meeting. In effort to better serve our members who work during the day, a special meeting is being held MONDAY, October 6th at 6:30pm. Light refresh-ments will be available as will babysitting. It is guaranteed to be a fun time full of belly laughs!
