Midland Newcomers

This organization is made up of volunteers who create handmade afghans, clothing and accessories to be donated to local organizations who can distribute or use them.  If there is interest, we will schedule some sessions early next year for people to knit or crochet squares and / or caps.  This is a good way to learn to knit or crochet, but people are also needed to weave in ends and help join the squares into afghans. There is currently a group of local women who are making baby caps to be sent overseas.  Please contact Karen Brecht if you are interested.
